A reimagining of Target’s current app that enriches the retail experience for the user. There were challenges to building an app for a retailer such as Target. There are multiple device ecosystems, each with their own specific design. There is also the challenge that Target already has an established brand look, limiting exploration of a wider color palette.
We saw an opportunity to create a mobile shopping experience that is better and easier. The new app unifies the mobile experience for Target shoppers while expanding brand equity with incentives for their in-store shopping by rewarding guests for using the app.
Fluid pricing creates the incentive for customers to explore, interact and return to Target. Target then gets to cater to return customers while evolving to their shopping habits, inclinations and schedules.
